Terrain & Building Analysis
Combines LiDAR elevation data with building footprints to model real-world obstructions at your exact location.
Internet Manager uses geospatial analysis to predict obstruction risk for VSAT and other satellite connections. Get a clear picture of your site's connectivity potential in under 60 seconds.
No account required. No address stored unless you save it.
Everything you need to evaluate satellite connectivity potential at any address, without climbing on a roof or hiring an installer.
Combines LiDAR elevation data with building footprints to model real-world obstructions at your exact location.
Analyzes all azimuth angles across the satellite field of view, not just a single direction.
Calculates expected signal availability based on satellite orbit paths and local obstruction geometry.
See which areas of your property have clear sky access and which have potential blockage zones.
Generate a shareable PDF report with coordinates, scores, and recommendations for installers or landlords.
Test different mounting heights to find the optimal placement before drilling any holes.
Switch between dish field-of-view profiles to match your specific hardware configuration.
Three steps to confident satellite internet planning.
Enter an address or click directly on the map to pinpoint where you plan to install. Set your preferred dish mounting height.
Our engine combines elevation models, building data, and satellite orbital parameters to calculate obstruction angles across the entire field of view.
Get an uptime score, blockage percentage, heatmap visualization, and specific recommendations. Export a PDF to share with installers or landlords.
From individual homeowners to enterprise installers, accurate obstruction data saves time and money.
Evaluating VSAT for a remote property
Know before you buy if your location has clear sky access, avoiding the $599 equipment investment on a site with heavy tree cover.
Planning mobile or seasonal setups
Check multiple potential parking spots or campsites in advance to find the best signal locations.
Assessing buildings for tenant internet options
Generate reports for multiple rooftop positions to determine optimal dish placement across a portfolio.
Pre-qualifying sites for customers
Reduce failed installations and customer complaints by screening locations before scheduling site visits.
Marketing connectivity as a feature
Include satellite internet viability data in listings for rural or remote properties.
Start free. Upgrade when you need more power.

Everything you need to know about Internet Manager.
Our analysis combines publicly available LiDAR elevation data with building footprint databases to model obstructions. While we cannot account for trees at the individual branch level or temporary structures, the terrain and building analysis provides a reliable baseline for most locations. Results should be treated as estimates to inform your decision, not guarantees.
We use a combination of USGS 3DEP LiDAR elevation data, OpenStreetMap building footprints, and satellite orbital parameters from publicly available TLE data. These are combined with field-of-view specifications for different dish types to calculate obstruction angles.
By default, we do not store your address or precise coordinates after your session ends. If you create an account (coming soon), you can optionally save locations for future reference. We never sell location data to third parties.
The core obstruction analysis applies to any VSAT service that requires a clear line of sight to the sky. The methodology works for LEO and GEO satellite services — FOV parameters can be adjusted to match any provider's dish specifications.
Most provider apps require you to be physically at the location with a phone. Internet Manager lets you analyze any location remotely before traveling, purchasing equipment, or scheduling an installation. It is particularly useful for property buyers, remote site planners, and installers doing pre-qualification.
The uptime percentage estimates how much of the time your dish would have a clear view to at least one satellite in the constellation. A 95%+ score typically indicates excellent connectivity potential. Scores below 85% suggest significant obstructions that may cause frequent dropouts.
Free scans have no cost. For Pro subscriptions, we offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee. However, because real-world conditions (tree growth, new construction, seasonal foliage) can change, we cannot guarantee predictions will match actual performance.
Yes, Enterprise customers can access our API for batch processing multiple locations. Contact our sales team for API documentation and volume pricing.
Our obstruction analysis combines multiple authoritative data sources to provide reliable site assessments.
We do not store your address or precise coordinates after your browser session ends. Analysis is performed in real-time and results are not retained unless you explicitly save them to an account. We never sell or share location data with third parties.
